Sam Oliver Runham is an Artist, Producer, Songwriter and music production student at Leeds College of Music. Originally from the city of Cambridge, Sam knew from a young age that he wanted to pursue a career in music. Having been brought up listening to Soul, Jazz and RnB he discovered a fundamentally diverse taste and interest in music. From the age of 12, learning to play the drums and guitar and receiving lessons on bass, until he discovered his love and interest in the technology and production side of music in secondary school.
Going on to earn a BTEC National Diploma in Music Technology (level 3) at Cambridge Regional College at the age of 18. As a result of this, his skills improved over the years to better his production, playing ability, and understanding of music.
Sam is self-taught on the piano and has been playing for 2 years. He gained an Apple certified pro award on Logic pro 9 in January 2014, and is currently studying Music Production at University.
Using his time in Leeds to write music, and collaborate with other artists, Sam hopes to achieve a name for himself and become successful in the coming future. Following up on a opportunity with a Producer in London, Sam plans for his music to achieve some potential radio play. Continuing to pursue getting his music heard and promoting himself effectively. He is in the process of receiving professional piano & singing tutoring, and currently working on his debut EP which will be available to buy May 2015.
